  1. A thought, maybe the EU shouldn’t sell weapons to a country that questions the sovereignty of a fellow EU (and NATO) country, has a casus belli against Greece written in its constitution and openly threatens its neighbors with war.

Let’s see beyond the nose and a quick buck when it comes to European security vis-à-vis autocrats this time?

These weapons enable Erdogan. Its important the perceived cost of war remains high for a revisionist country like Turkey.

  2. And if they do that now, then Turkey will definitely not ratify the Finnish and Swedish accession to NATO.

  3. By the way, we sold Greece practically exactly the same submarines, they are called Papanikolis class there.

If we really sold Turkey German high-tech, like the new Dakar class that we supply to Israel, then I could understand the resentment, but we don’t do that.

  4. hello I am Greece I place artileries to islands that can hit turkish mainland but they are the ones who are threating me .s .s

    edit: islands
