Of course. People smugglers are real salt of the earth types. The only thing they care about is the health and safety of the masses of people they smuggle into the country.
They don’t care at all about their profits, nor the vast sums of money they make from the people suffering. They’d smuggle ’em for free, if they could! It’s not about the money for them at all.
People smugglers are real life angels, and they should be venerated and celebrated as such!
Fair point. Let’s ignore centuries of exploitation and put all the blame on agents of economic transferral – in this case actual literal people – rather than face the fact this is largely a problem of our own making.
Addendum; cue the screeching nationalists who fail to understand that we cannot have our cake of pride without eating the cream of responsibility too.
