I doubt she needed to secretly plot this. I bet most Tory MPs would be in support of this and a fair chunk of the public too. Who wants doctors, nurses, teachers, police officers etc. on good salaries and working in good conditions? You get what you pay for and the Tories are hoping to get a crap public service so they can justify privatising it down the line. It worked with British Rail after all.

Liz Truss needs half of Kemi’s votes to catch up to Rishi and if Mordaunt gets half she beats Rishi. I don’t believe nearly any of Kemi’s camp will go to Rishi. Its going to be Penny vs Rishi. Then Penny will win because they don’t want a known tax dodger in Number 10.
