5. So this is the truth: this is the museum staff lunchbreak area. It used to read “privé” (private area). The museum logo changed recently, so they had to change the signs. The staff needs their privacy too, but they wanted a more fun and whimsical way of saying: leave us alone when you see us here.

   The museum guides started to include this in the tours so everyone can enjoy this clever joke.

   Scource: i’m married to a staff member. And she wasn’t amused by the “obese staff” comment. Personally i found it hilarious.
