Wake from your sleep
The drying of your tears
Today, we escape, we escape
Pack and get dressed
Before your father hears us
Before all hell breaks loose
Breathe, keep breathing
Don’t lose your nerve
Breathe, keep breathing
I can’t do this alone
Sing us a song
A song to keep us warm
There’s such a chill, such a chill
And you can laugh
A spineless laugh
We hope your rules and wisdom choke you
Now we are one in everlasting peace
We hope that you choke, that you choke
We hope that you choke, that you choke
We hope that you choke, that you choke
This has went from a cool subreddit to a miserable vent sub real quick, seriously needs to be rectified because it’s ruined the sub.
The big youthful head on him
Yeah whenever I’m not logged in, this sub shows up on my homepage and it’s always either doomer “woe-is-me” posts or people using this place like it’s their facebook feed
Do you mind if I put on Reddit father?
Lol my quality of life jumped when I started only coming to this sub once a week, sorting by “top of the week” filters out the worst of it.
I unsubscribed so I don’t happen upon the misery while browsing my front page, but still browse when I’m feeling up to it
Yeah, gotta build up the mental fortitude to scroll this sub at times. Or just exit out as soon as it gets hairy
Can somebody link the original sketch?
r/casualireland is less active but also less poisonous.
Complaining about people complaining only adds to the complaining lad.
That’s me now, when I realised you didn’t add the radiohead track man.
I personally love the guys who started posting in this weird fake folksy style after the popularity Scottish people twitter exploded
“Shur lads what do ye be gettin on the aul chicken roll after ye get ouhha mass with de mammy on sunday?”
Pretty much.
