1. Sand in polish is piasek which is pretty close tho

2. Actually płyn in polish is more like fluid, so either gas or liquid. Liquid translates to ciecz.

5. There’s a variation of the word “cudny” – “cudaczny” which means “wierd”.
   You can also say that someone “cuduje” that means “wydziwia” (acting weird)

If someone wonders about how “czerstwy” come into two opposing meanings in these languages, it’s because it used to mean “healthy” (and still does, but not when talking about bread) and bread was not considered to be healthy when eaten on the same day it was baked and healthy after 2-3 day since for some reason.

7. Ahaha, that is so funny to read knowing Ukrainian. So a few funny things about these words in Ukrainian. I hope you have fun just like me 😀
   Pisok (пісок) – sand
   Pesyk (песик) – dog
   Sirka (сірка) – sulfur and also it means earwax
   Jagoda (ягода) – berry (all of them)
   Dyvnyy (дивний) – wierd
   Dyvovyzhnyy (дивовижний) – wonderful
