You can go anywhere in poland and you will see zabkas
Edit: not see zabkas but see at least one zabka somewhere
Fun fact: I live in the middle of nowhere so a closest żabka to me is around 4km away
In Warsaw it’s like every building, no matter if it’s flat or office has its own Żabka. Sometimes there are 3 of them on 200m long street
I am returning to America in 2 days and I think I will miss Żabka the most. It is so convenient!
7 eleven is own by Japanese corpo.
I miss the Zabka hot dogs. Can’t find anything like that in the US. Honestly I should open a food truck, it’s the perfect kind of food for that and a niche that is not being met here. Time to go back to Poland to learn the recipe and train alongside the masters.
Coming from Lower Silesia (Poland), I’m used to every city and town having a Vietnamese minority and, at least, one good restaurant, so this gives me a double smile.
Few years ago I would say it wasn’t Żabka but Lewiatan, because my town had Lewiatan everywhere and only on Żabka close to Main Post, but now it’s changed from 1 Żabka to 7-8 now. Still they keep close to town’s centre, so still Lewiatan wins.
I have yet to see seven-eleven in Warsaw, however, in Beijing (China) you can find it occasionally.
This is basically what the franchise system does. They open new stores across the street and don’t care that it will slash the income of that first Zabka in half. It’s actually pretty horrid.
As a Taiwanese who lived in Poland, yes.
Favorite Zabka story: at a friend’s place for predrinks, go out for an alcohol run (we were poorly prepared sorry). I went to the closest Zabka and see some guys hanging out in front of it. We start chatting and they hand me their bottle of vodka. We keep drinking and chatting. I never made it back to that pre-drink. Worth it.
r/taiwan would appreciate this.
I used to live in Poznań where I had 3 zabka in 200 mtr radius and now I live in the outskirts of Krakow, where my nearest żabka is 3kms away. Life is tough
Fami-mart in Japan too.
Yes
Nothing is forever. Except Żabka. Żabka is forever

I hate żabka so much
While Czech and espiecailly Lithuanians manage good relations with Taiwan Polish President is having fruitless conversation with Xi Jingping both during winter olympics and now. ([twitter](https://twitter.com/AndrzejDuda/status/1552996601647579136?cxt=HHwWgIC-qcuLrY0rAAAA))
