The woman clearly sounds like a huge Karen just by reading this and you have to be a complete moron or talk in really bad faith to say the rules are not clear in a situation like this.
There is a new variant that is a problem for most of the EU, stay in your fucking room for 2 weeks. Tests can fail both ways, better safe than sorry.
