Are they really saying the Tory MPs voting in the leadership ballot were affected by headlines they read in the Mail?
Don’t they, of all people, know the Mail’s front page is a pure propaganda sheet, and about as full of shit as a front page can get without it being a criminal offence to put it through your letterbox?
I don’t think press attacks had much to do with it at this point. The voters so far have been Tory MPs.
Now, as we go to the membership vote the press attacks on both sides will ramp up.
I suspect it’s more that they knew she was even less electable.
