  1. O dear! Meaning the stronger / richer may survive amd the weaker / poorer may just die. This is the latest tories’ way to reduce that infamous NHS waiting list I guess. Shameful.

  2. The total number of food bank users will rise behind this, but donations will fall as those who used to donate are forced to save every penny or become food bank users themselves.

    Tired of how we hear how well off our politicians are for what little they do for us, the ones that actually put them there (regardless of your political alignment – they should be working for the people and yes, that includes us poor).

    Big fat corporations enjoying record profits and still increasing prices… shame on our government for letting this happen.

  4. It’s bad that it’s going up, but the vast majority of the world pays WAY more money for food. I recently moved to the UK from a third world country where the median salary is less than UK minimum wage but food costs 4× as much. I am loving how cheap life is here. Count your blessings people.
