I work in a bargain home store and the amount of people we had coming in yesterday buying cooler boxes and freezable slushies and portable barbecues and then chirping about how nice the weather was and how they were all going to the beach was fucking insane.
I had just to smile and tell them to have a nice day whilst periodically glancing at the fried crepey skin that hung loose from their meat.
It’s a 10 minute bicycle ride to and from work for me. I finished at 16:30 and by the time I got in at 16:40 I was drenched in sweat. I think people willingly going out in this lack self preservation ability.
All the ones *enjoying* the weather now are usually not the ones who will be suffering in 30 years time when this is commonplace.
Plus the coldest 5 years (other than 1963) were over 100 years ago.
Almost like removing a huge amount of vegetation that was keeping a balance and massively increasing energy expenditure can heat the place up.
I’d be more surprised if they weren’t from the last 25 or so years.

Here we are thinking he’s just a crazed mad man, acting as a brainless bullying thug with ideas of global domination through military might. But really, he’s over there in Moscow right now, playing 4-D chess!
He’s desperately trying to start World War 3, but no one is playing ball with him. He wants there to be a nuclear war between the superpowers so that it would bring about a nuclear winter, which would result in the average global temperature going down by about 15’C – 25’C.
