How does the GMC propose to address this then?
It has shown repeatedly that it would rather pursue individual doctors for the systemic failure of the NHS rather than focus on the genuine causes of these failings which include lack of investment, lack of work force planning, lack of protection of doctors who are brave enough to whistleblow.
Is it really any surprise that doctors feel burned out when they often have to cover the work of more than one doctor due to rota gaps.
