‘Legal cannabis is safer’ – Ming in favour of legalising personal cannabis

  1. I’m gonna say it, weed is too strong these days.

Legalisation and regulation will mean that I can access (and pay tax on) mellow weed with good CBD content. Haven’t felt nice after a joint in years now, just feels dirty.

    Hash is still nice though!

  2. Legalising cannabis will allow safer conditions in various ways. But that doesn’t mean that legal cannabis will be safer. What, is it going to kill fewer than zero people now?

  3. The only reason I want cannabis legalised (well there are a few reasons, including for medical use) is so I can get edibles.
I stopped smoking years ago and if I do end up going down the need for medical marijuana I would rather nibble on something rather than end up with a risk of smoking again

  4. “Ming in favour of legalising personal cannabis”

    THIS IS BRAND NEW INFORMATION

No seriously, he’s not wrong, but “Ming speaks in favour of legalising cannabis” is basically his entire platform since 1995.

  5. Drugs just need to be legalised everywhere in every country, regulated and run by government I don’t think theirs any other way not in the long run say between now and the next 5000 years.

Anybody ever see any of those cartel videos stuff like beheading a father and then cutting the sons heart out, lighting a guys face on fire while he’s already skinned down to his skull nearly. Beheadings, shootings etc etc the power these people have needs to be taken away from them forever. You can’t just seize, arrest and battle your way out of a problem like that it’s just never gonna happen.

And legalising cannabis will be a good start, you’d probably get a longer jail time for a few plants in your hotpress than if you were to go out and beat up a woman, ridiculous.

  6. I have Tourette’s and MS and between my tics and the pain and headaches weed is the only thing except codeine which has helped me.

and I sure as shit don’t want to be on codeine instead of weed.

  7. Once the current government can set themselves up with stock and positions in the cannabis industry they will lobby for a vote on legalisation

  8. I think it’s been time for a while. Cannabis is not any more dangerous to your health than cigarettes or to your judgment than alcohol. It’s just another old fashioned sticking point in this country that we will all wonder why it took that long when it is finally overcome.

  9. I seen Ming in Dublin airport about 3 weeks ago. He was speaking to someone else so I didn’t approach him but I’ve been regretting it since. Legend.

  10. He is right, during the alcohol prohibition in America, people were consuming lethal concoctions that would never be allowed in a regulated market.

  11. Legalise shrooms while we’re at it. They grow all over the place anyway. Our ancestors ate buckets of them and look how class we are now.

Also, weed is fuckin boring and greens me out in two seconds flat. But go for it.

  12. From a guy like myself who knows sweet fuck all about politics …how much does power this dude actually have in making legality a thing …I’m heading to Amsterdam at the end of august so I’m completely brainwashed and dreaming about coffee shops lately 😍🤣🤣

  13. legalise cocaine and ketamine aswell

I’m not going to lie like other people and say “oh I use shrooms or weed for spiritual enlightenment”

I just want to get fucked up

  14. Society didn’t fall apart when Canada legalised it. It’s long overdue.

Also lots of people, particularly middle class people, prefer to buy it from the government-regulated stores now. Even though it costs more than getting it from a dealer, you can go into a safe, well-lit shop, not in a sketchy area, and know exactly what you’re getting in terms of purity, etc.

  15. I’m from Michigan in the states and we’ve been able to walk into a store and buy some herb for a couple years now and there’s been no negative effects. It is absolutely fine and generates at least $100million extra tax dollars for this state every year. I’m just glad I don’t have to get in cars with strangers to get a little herb anymore.
