Sibiu, or Hermannstadt, as it was/is called by it’s old German population, it’s such a beautiful city. I never was there myself, even though my father’s family is from there. I do get to see pictures every now and then when someone visits their old home.
Ceausescu made sure to drive the Germans out over time, glad my family left more or less unscathed.
Europe has too much sad memory.

Besides the ones with Gluhwein, my favorite stand is the one with chocolate objects like locks or pliers. They look so real.
