Aká krajina takí filozofi:

  1. Poland has much more to offer than just Tarski, also Czechia has a lot more to offer than just Patočka. I am not sure whether SK has anything to offer besides dráčik. I think that the days of hero figures in philosophy are finally over and that is a good thing.
Philosophers from all over the world publish in Organon H, and people from SAV get at least some international acknowledgement (for example Jon Stuart from the SAV received a nice price from Cambridge University Press for his last book).
There is still a Thomist tradition in SK and I think that this is a good thing, even if it is not as popular as other schools. But in the end, philosophers should neither seek nor care for fame.
