Look at that church, filled to the brim with old ladies and a couple of old men here and there. No one is going to save your culture if you couldn’t even pass it on to your kids. Goes for all middle eastern, european, american Christian peoples.
All 4 Maronite villages are in the occupied areas so unless there is a solution that allows them to return to these villages and live together again it won’t happen, nothing the Pope can do…
I heard a few years ago that they started learning young people the language…well idk how is that going. Other countries managed to preserve or revive languages, Cyprus could learn sth from them
Everyone are so preoccupied with save this save that but cultures die it’s part of life. We lost most of ancient literature and art thanks to Christians this sucks but hey we have pronouns now to enjoy I guess this counts for something.
