Pretty much sums up how we went from headliners in 2005 of Kraftwerk and Arcade Fire to Picture This and Dermot Kennedy
EP is overpriced as fuck and the festival sells out before the lineup is even released. Line up is shockin’ too for the price. Says a lot about the people who go. I love getting fucked up as much as the next person but a lot of people can’t handle it. Not to mention it’ll be full of teens. I’m not even 30 and I felt old at Forbidden Fruit, young ones getting EMT help at like 8pm.
I’m headed to a festival in Amsterdam at the same time as EP. It’s cheaper, the Dutch can handle their drugs and the crowd is a bit more mature and chilled out.

EP’s not for me anymore, but that’s fine. It’s always an annual banker to see eurofest snobs and transcendence connoisseurs come out in their droves to go on about how going all Kevin & Perry Go Large in a field was so much more *real* back in the day.
That does sound class to be fair
There has been 4959954 concerts this year so far. Can we end the ‘it’s good just to be out again’ shite.
