Curious is the Nitrogen Dioxide concentration area of Marseille and Corsica Island
ENGLAND NUMBER ONE LETS GOOO.
That’s no laughing matter!
Shit… that highest concentration is where i live. Is this stuff that bad for you ?
Hey, I can see Bełchatów from here!
Lately, I’ve been working on making an animated/interactive visualisation of ESA and EPA air quality data for Europe, so you can see how air pollution moves across borders.

What happened in the north of Mediterranean Sea?
Thank you, Alps!
UK, Benelux and Germany have a bit of explaining to do..

Satellite measurements from European Space Agency. It seems the amount of NO2 over the Mediterranean Sea is not as high as posted.
Shame on you Britain
I’m surprised about the UK. What with deindustrialization and the proximity of the sea, I would have thought the air is much cleaner.
Now that is a chonky smog, Marseille. Well done!
Unpopulated areas win again!!!
this is old and I’m too tired to explain what happened here 🙂
But I’m glad to understand it 😀 it is also surprising to see rich peopl around moscow :O, or not, what did I expect…
Is that nitrogen dioxide along the frontline of the Donbass war?
I think we finally found where Atlantis is located
Fuck
I appreciate the projection this map uses ☺️
I deeply condemn uk and Germany for not working to stop or lower carbon emissions
Did the EU take anybody else to court over high carbon dioxide levels?

Wait, what does NO² even mean?
Why is England so bad?
Am I the only one bothered by “EURO PE”?
Yeah, get your shit together Nicosia.

Made a short video about it here: [Animated Air Quality over Europe](https://giphy.com/gifs/pUwvo9He1lgiKJZc36/fullscreen)
Tsk Tsk Western Europe, you yet again need the balkans to carry you SMH my head
This map doesn’t suprise me much but it does make me ashamed to be a belgian citizen even tough I’m one of the few that doesn’t drive a diesel car.
Not sure what the added value is of posting an atmospheric NO2 concentration map for a random day 2+ years ago but ok.
