As a Polish person who lives in Silesia and thanks to that has both German and Polish ancestors, my generational trauma (that touches fighting for your life and freedom, poverty, experiencing murder of your family members and actually SURVIVING a concentration camp) makes a pretty wild mix with the other side of my family (which includes a great-great-grandfather who was an S*-Man). So here’s that.
