What worries me about it all is that safety bill articles do not get any comments here or in the other subreddit. To me that means that people support censorship and I hope I am wrong.
Gotta love having MPs calling for me to face retroactive criminal sanctions for setting up HTTPS on a webserver.
The only online safety there should be is common sense.
1. Don’t let young kids or teens have unfettered access to the Internet without ensuring that they’re not idiotic enough to go meet a stranger they spoke to online.
2. That’s literally it, there’s no point in a second bullet point, that’s all there is to online “safety”.
