Dear German Redditors, could you please help me translate this? I found it in prewar geographical atlas so I suppose it’s a school assignment, but the handwriting makes it hard to read for a non-native

  1. It’s written in an old writing system called Kurrent (not, I think, Sütterlin, though people frequently confuse those). Most Germans nowadays can’t read either. If you can’t find anyone here, post it to /u/kurrent.

    I can read it but don’t have time to transcribe, let alone translate right now, but essentially it’s about Rome’s war against Carthage and the Gallic tribes.
