Listening to Eamon Ryan on the radio this morning , the policies seems a bit overstretched given our history of getting anything done here. The Agriculture solutions seems possible as do Energy to a point , but transport seems totally unrealistic given the layout of the country.

The aim is for net zero by 2050, any measures like solar / wind / (even planting forestry, I’m sure) that farmers can implement are counted towards savings on other sectors, so there’s a baseline in agriculture that you can’t go below, proportional to the size of the national herd.
