  1. Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the South West.. Cornwall, all need to leave the little Englanders to themselves.

  2. Okay and where are your policies to improve the union and win Scottish, Welsh and Irish folk back over to union? Or is this a case of pretending you cannot hear people and hope they go away?

  3. I can already foresee the posters of Keir Starmer in Sturgeon’s pocket going up around England in 2024.

Alongside “Save Brexit” and lots of culture war bollocks, this was always the Tory plan.

They’re dead if the next election gets fought on hard issues like the economy or tax.

  4. Congratulations Scotland, former Liberal Democrat, Remain-backing Truss says no. We all know how good her word is, so looks like you’ll get your referendum.

  5. Do people want to keep holding referendums until the desired result is achieved? It hasn’t even been 10yrs since the previous vote…

  6. For a party that claims to be all about reducing regulation and increasing freedom, they really seem invested in taking away people’s right to choose how they want to live their lives and govern themselves

  7. Mi-eow!

I, for one, am looking forward to the claws-out, hair-pulling catfight in the carpark between Liz Truss and Nicola Sturgeon 😀

You may instinctively think Sturgeon would win the scrap, what with her being Scottish and no one loves a good scrap more than the Scots do. But get Truss fired up, and she’ll go berserk like a rabid honey badger! And in a disorganised, scrappy, no rules street catfight, never bet against crazy!
