Supermacs owner Pat McDonagh: Buy long life food now due to food shortages this winter

  1. Sure people can finally use the 100’s of cans and toilet rolls that they panic bought at the start of the pandemic!

Your man is a bloody tool, maybe he should pay his staff better

  2. Look, personal feelings about the guy aside, we can’t say for certain he’s wrong.

Having some dried and canned foods throughout this winter wouldn’t be a bad backup plan, and will work as practice for when we definitely need to do it in years to come

  3. A bond-villain-esque plan: Create hysteria and encourage panic buying thus stripping supermarkets of food and pushing people to buy fast food 🦹

  4. He should spend a few bob on his rental
accomadation’s, he charges extra for the rotting windows and the mounds of mould….

  5. Doesn’t bode well for the future quality of the food they serve. The fries are already complete limp and sloppy shite.

  6. I would say the opposite, fuel costs are going down, Ukraine is exporting inflation has contracted fully and should start easing off from here or the next few months onwards,

As another op said sounds like a good stance to take to avoid giving his staff pay rises, I am no expert these are just my thoughts

I also think pat is a scumbag capitalistic cunt that got lucky more then anything so I’d be inclined to disagree with him and why does he dye his hair the same colour as his chips
