Hi,

I am currently working in Norway and my mother is going to be visiting me next summer. I am planning to show her some of the beautiful Norwegian nature but she is 65 and so I was thinking if there is a tour I can take which would be suitable for a senior person? She will not be able to hike and so looking more at cruise/bus ride kind of a thing.

On the internet I came across [https://www.fjordtours.com/things-to-do-in-norway/fjord-cruises/](https://www.fjordtours.com/things-to-do-in-norway/fjord-cruises/) but not sure if there are other better ones.

Any suggestions would be greatly helpful.

  1. I grew up near Lysefjorden. You can take a ferry all the way from Stavanger and to the end (Lysebotn). Then either bring a car and experience 27 hairpin cuves – or take the ferry back.

Really nice if the weather is nice – if not, probably not so much.

… And 65 is no age not to go hiking for a Norwegian 🙂

  2. 65 is hardly «senior» these days, depends on her health of course. Recommend the ferry to Geiranger. Fairly cheap, and you can bring your car.
