Imagine all of the managment staff of a hotel just up and bailing for their “summer holidays” for weeks on end and just leaving it to run itself, the rooms are full, and there is a queue out the door and all the managers just walk by without a care in the world, oh and huge number of the guests are killing themselves. Wouldn’t be a very good hotel would it.

Either the government don’t care about the country & its ordinary citizens or they have actually so little involvement in the running of the country that they won’t be missed.
