Funny thing is that some people believe that corruption in RoC will also be “solved” if we come to some partnership deal to the Cyprus problem because the apparently uncorrupted TC politicians will prevent corruption from happening.
In reality corruption will get worst, along with most other things which will get worst if a bad “solution” is accepted.
It cannot be corrupt because the north don’t exist it’s a a real state so it can’t have real corruption

Bro North Cyprus has ZERO oversight of any sorts. It’s hands down the single most corrupt country I’ve ever lived in. Zero oversight does have some benefits obviously but %95 of the time it just means crazy corruption

I mean, imagine a solution where the north side joins the south and then in the north is a bunch of prop up towns with no infrastructure or logistical design to it. The north will still have the notoriety for being a joke, solution or not as they are fucking the place up with their bulldozers, drilling and brown envelope “projects”.

Well… Greece is number 1 on the corruption chart for the EU and Cyprus is 3rd I think so we’re not that far off. I wonder what the statistics are for Turkey in comparison to the North. Real statistics though not made up ones.

Actually its worse than corrupt. 🙂 The governemnt is a puppet which prometes themselves as independent butevery word to the letter by the outside influences. All the governemnt contracts are cancelled on found a way to divert them (due to cancellation) to relatives of outside influences for 5x price. The media is not free and only used a spropanga tool just like North Korea. The Law enforcement is under control of outside influence. The Justice systems is struggling and all the judges and district attorneys are threatened and scared to make a decision. So that that.
