For any Star Wars fans, the three female leads in the upcoming Andor Series are all Irish.

  1. Is anyone else just sort of put off by the fact that it’s yet another prequel that happens between movies? There’s really not a lot they can actually do here because we know they have to get to a specific point by the end of the show.

Like Kenobi, the only people in any real danger were the new characters. And I don’t give a shite about some new guy called Chengo Bengus dying after a few episodes.

  2. Woman in the middle voices Yennefer in the Witcher games, never seen her in anything live action so looking forward to her performance.

  3. Jausus it’s a wonder they got anything done at all, with all their feckin and drinkin, they’re nuthin but a shower of dypsos, they sure know how to throw a party though.

  4. Come out you imperial fans
Come out and fight me like a man
Tell your wife how you won medals down in tattooine
Tell her how the rebel fleet made you run like he’ll away
From the green and lovely forests of endor!

  5. I doubt many people here are watching it, but there’s a current sci-fi show called [Moonhaven](https://youtu.be/3DhRku_tM-M), that not only has lots of Irish actors, was also filmed here. That in itself is not that unusual, what’s strange watching it, is that its set on a giant domed lunar colony and north Wicklow doubles for the exterior scenes.

It’s strange to see all these “outside” shots of the lunar surface with Powerscourt waterfall in the background.

  6. A long time ago, in a Galaxy far, far away…

“….ah Jaysus, is it yourself? Haven’t seen ya in ages. What are the chances… ha? Ha? ‘Tis a small world. Sure everyone ends up in Tatooine…”
