This tugs at the heartstrings for me. I spent a good chunk of my childhood in Aachen and am desperately trying to figure out a move/career switch via an Ausbildung now. I can practically smell the Printen and feel the cobblestones, thanks for sharing.

Ah, Aachen…nice little town. I’d like to go back. It seemed like almost an ideal idyllic German city, if maybe a little bit on the expensive side.
