LNER drivers striking over pay, whilst earning at the very least £70k. They’re not struggling, it’s pure greed
Good luck to them.
I believe that’s the point of a strike. The disruption is the message of this is the chaos caused by you not paying us fairly.
*Mark and Fiona are a couple from Winchester who are due to travel to a wedding on Saturday.
“This will seriously affect our plans for travelling to a wedding in Kent. Now we have no choice but to drive, and there will be so much traffic,” Fiona told the BBC.
“It’s causing me a lot of anxiety and unnecessary stress,” she added.*
Causing people to drive… in traffic.. I’m absolutely disgusted. In tears almost.
That’s the idea.
I must say, these train strikes have really caused me a lot of disruption, and I’m absolutely FURIOUS that they are NECESSARY.
Solidarity with rail worker’s. No one should have to work for a poverty wage.
everything these days is an ”us & them” scenario, so let me nail my colours to the mast, any complaints about the strikers, leads my to believe you’re a fuckin massive twat.
I’ll go work their job for 60k a year, drop me an inbox I’ll start today.
Just realised that the strike is today when trying to organise travel for later. Makes life a little harder but I’m all for them striking. Family member just said “f**king selfish train drivers.” Corrected the record quite quickly.
Good. We need more chaos it’s the only thing government’s and big business will respond to
BBC can go fuck itself, it’s not an unbiased outlet.
Every one on these articles I can’t wait for automation to put these drivers out of a job.
