So just to get this right – was the Kremlin at one point *not* ready for negotiations if they were at its own terms?

If you actually read the little bits of what Russia’s puppets are saying they are rolling their demands back faster then they ran their bitch asses out of Kyiv.
Slowly and painfully but steadily the war is trending towards Ukraine, so long as Ukraine has the will to keep up the fight NATO and the EU must enable them to do so. Both to support Ukraine and it’s people and becuase no matter what it costs to send weapons to Ukraine it costs much less than fighting Russia in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, or Poland some years from now.
The sooner they realize we can supply weapons to Ukraine forever, the better it is for everyone, including Russia.

Russia would not beg for negotiations if it wasn’t fucked in the ass.
There’s been a relatively big controversy here for the last couple days over a letter the President’s wife wrote to the biggest newspaper about how the world needs to encourage both Putler and Zelenskiy to the negotiating table, effectively equating them. Strange how this is also want RuZZia wants now. Not once did she call for their unconditional surrender.
