‘Former police officer Wayne Couzens, who is serving a whole-life term for the murder of Sarah Everard, has lost his appeal to reduce his sentence.’
Good
Good. This was a man in a position of trust that Sarah should have been able to feel absolutely safe in the company of. He not only betrayed her trust, but the public trust. I personally don’t feel it too hyperbolic to consider his deeds to be treasonous.
Good, scumbags like this should never see the light of day again.
Question has to be asked though, how did a monster like this, who never tried to hide his attitude towards women, (his nickname was ‘the rapist’), manage to get a job, never mind a job in the police?
He abused his trusted position as a police officer to rape and kill a woman.
He needs to get in the fucking sea.
He should never be released.
Not only did he use his position of authority, as a police officer to kidnap, rape and murder a member of the public, he did serious harm to the standing of the police in the public eye.
People who would have turned to the police to safety and security might now not do so because of his actions.
His actions have affected so many.
Good, he was allowed the opportunity to appeal, and now has no way to claim he didn’t receive proper justice.
Why did he even bother… I mean even, even if he got the life sentence tariff removed, he’d still be in prison for…life.
No way in hell a parole board would agree to let him see the light of day again.
On what basis did he try to argue the sentence should be reduced?
Good, he should count himself lucky he’s not swinging at the end of a rope.
I’m sure his fellow inmates will be keen to discuss his police career with him…
No teeth for you Waynetta
Cool, now can we agree to never speak of him again and just let me be forgotten about while rotting in a cell?
Slow roast him over 50 years. A grime on this earth.
Do we know how she died? Hope it was quick
Human sewage
I just cant imagine what kind of mind does what he did, and then think ‘nah, I deserve a lesser punishment’.
I realise the bloke is almost certainly wired wrong, but still…
When I was young a ‘life’ sentence was 25 years. Is it actually literally life now?
Good because this bellend deserves to rot in jail.
During the worst pandemic in over 100 years, he lured in an innocent woman into his grasp by abusing his authority as a police officer before proceeding to kidnap, rape and murder her. He has not only done multiple horrific crimes to the poor woman but he also betrayed his own duty as a civil servant to serve the public.
He has expressed ZERO regret or remorse and has never told anyone the truth about what he did. The police had to piece it together.
He’d have done it again if he’d not got caught.
I can *always* find understanding for people, but not him.
And his lawyers got a little bit richer.
What he did was premeditated and f’ing evil. He deserves a whole life sentence and he will never be at a stage where he isnt a danger to the public.
Don’t want to say his name, hope he rots in piss for eternity, but every time I read this I can’t help but think of how fucking scared Sarah Everard must’ve been when she realised what was happening and the absolute horror she went through in her final hours alive. No one thinks it will happen to them, but to realise that it is happening must’ve been horrific and my entire heart goes out to her and her family.
The front of the man to even appeal…
Did we ever find out who were the other police officers tipping him off to the investigation so he could destroy his phone?
