I’m not sure whether it beats yours or is worse than yours? It possibly even is both better and worse simultaneously.
LIDL are doing this a lot. It’s common in the bakery section too. Red sign offering a price for two items that is exactly the cost of … the two items. Presumably it works on enough people to be worthwhile.
Tonic water (not branded) in Tesco and Lidl and Aldi for the last few years was 20-25c. In the last 3 months it’s up to 50c. Crazy. 100% increase.
In fairness now, the sign isn’t lying to you
I mean why not, they know by now most Irish are stupid. Voting the same people all over again while they screw you with rents.
Thats to account for inflation
The 5 for €5 offer (starting tomorrow) seems pretty good.
