As a non-political actor, he has a unique opportunity not available to MPs or Mayors. Same reason the Tories found Rashford very hard to attack
So many people look up to Mick Lynch for leadership, tell us what to do and we will do it.
If you have the opportunity to join a union please do.
He’s correct but that’s literally what he was voted in for. He did it when he encouraged saps to vote for brexit, os he saying he cannot do so again?
Mick, please start a political party. I’d vote for you.
A fair few people seem to want to wait until a union gets a good result before joining, however unions are better when more people join and when more unions strike simultaneously. If people want results then they need to act sooner and act often, otherwise the momentum fizzles out and unions become easier to ignore.
Man speaks the truth. He needs a larger audience.
If they are so wise then why don’t they run a rail franchise, pay the staff what they want, they deliver an amazing customer service and they give their profits to the government or to charities??
They can do the same in as many industries as they want, like pharmaceutical companies which give the NHS drugs at cost price and work with colleges and universities to provide entry-level jobs and training to staff whilst doing so much good.
If they think that is achievable then there is literally nothing stopping then but the finances – which can be achieved through co-operative investment, grants and investment from philanthropists of which there are (apparently) loads.
Then it doesn’t matter if Labour are in government, they can run the transport and energy sectors through via the existing structures.
Such a beast
He’s correct, except for the fact we have no one willing to lead in the political arena. The lib dems and labour are happy being brave and bullish whilst stood outside of the square circle. ☹
