I honestly think Starmer has massively misjudged public sentiment and the severity of the crisis
Good to see Labour are starting work on their plan to fuck up the best chance of a general election victory in years. Again.
I just don’t understand why they would rather be in opposition than get into power and then squabble like school children later.
Man who lied about his job title to engineer a crisis tries blaming other people for the crisis.
Tankie upset with the person who sacked him. The sooner Labour ditches these Corbyn and Momemtum dregs the better.
As much as I agree that infighting hurts Labour’s chances, we can’t just blame the left wing of the party – Starmer is the leader and has to take some responsibility for taking decisions where the negatives seem to massively outweigh the positives, and result in this infighting. It’s okay telling the left of the party off for causing trouble and reminding them that we need to win power to make real change, but that logic applies to Starmer here too.
We can’t just tell one side to shut up and allow the other to do what they like. This is politics, make some good political decisions, make a concession or two to ensure a united party – particularly on an issue like this. Starmer obviously had a course correction strategy post-Corbyn, and that’s fair enough, but he risks overcorrecting and overreacting to anything he thinks might remind the electorate of Corbyn.
Quick labour are ahead in the polls, destroy ourselves!
And yet he is polling very well … almost as if everyone in the Labour party apart from Kier Starmer are having a complete car crash
He certainly lacks political judgement. He makes you notice how new he is to politics. And curiously he seems to lack all understanding of what Labour is for.
Imagine making up policy, giving yourself a new job title, getting fired, then telling the national press that your boss has got it wrong.
Sam Tarry is being forced to go through a full re selection process. Obviously his local Labour Party members don’t think he’s a very good MP.
The guy deserved to be sacked, unauthorized interview spouting shite would get pretty much anyone sacked from their job.
Says a lot that he wasn’t being kept on by Labour anyway.
