Well… you should understand that, just as the US has a “bear” subculture which is not actually of the species *Ursus Arctos*, the word “ulv” in Norwegian doesn’t usually refer to the canine animal, of which there are like twenty left in the whole country. So it is genuinely quite likely that a person being “eaten” by a “wolf” would have a smile on their face. Sadly, Duolingo doesn’t always convey these nuances.
What app/website is this? I have some American friends who would like to try and learn Norwegian.
Sadly, wolves haven’t killed any people in hundreds of years.
