[Finnish > English] engraving on a knife

  1. My best guess would be “isälle” (to my father) cant make sense of the rest.

    then again, i’m terrible trying to read handwriting

    edit:Have to ask if is it a military knife from our wars? if it is, people that are familiar with those things would appreciate you showing it

  2. it does seem like a “lähitaistelupuukko” that people used to wield during the wars.

    “lähitaistelupuukko” would translate in “close combat knife”

  3. Iisakki Järvenpää, name of one of the major knife making companies here, named after its founder.
