Even worse after a week off
Well I am going back tomorrow after 2 weeks off, so my hatred is through the roof.
Not everyone, man. I like holidays that I choose, but I hate being made to take holidays. Give me an extra day of at will leave for every bank holiday, and ditch the bank holidays.
Dreading that alarm clock 🤣
I’ve also had the 25th-29th off beforehand. Positively suicidal.
He looks like Myspace Tom but has been forced to give up his WFH privileges and come in to his cubical

honestly, office work isn’t that bad, especially compared to manual labour, I’ve done both manual labour and office work, working in an office is a lot nicer than working manually
I had a big once-every-6-weeks sorta deadline falling due later this afternoon, and knew I’d have to spend all morning flat out preparing for it.
So instead: On Friday before I finished up I decided I’d work a few hours on Monday evening to prepare everything. Took the fear outta my weekend, and I got fuckin’ loads done without anyone at me. So now this morning has arrived, and I only need to show up to a few presentations already prepped to the gills. So I can spend the whole morning chilling – nice leisurely gym session, enjoy my coffee, do a few bits around the apartment, fuck around on reddit. No stress. Lovely.
I am back tomorrow having had the week from hell last week because of a horrendous new boss. Dreading going back tomorrow and having the head taken off me again 😭 Shame because I used to really like my job.
I got back, system died … its still dead since morning …
My voice was hoarse until about 1pm and I look like I just fell out of a hedge, thank fuck for wfh!
