/r/northernireland is pretty awful. If you vote for Alliance or favour reformist constitutional nationalist SDLP politics then the hive-mind will deem you as acceptable, but everything outside of that is regarded as wrong thought.

When someone points out it sucks here, has a different or nuanced take of any kind, their comments get downvoted off the page. What you are left with is a drab collection of chicken fillet roll content that is uncontroversial.
It’s not a place for discussion essentially, its a place for the Priestly caste, and chicken fillet roll memes.
