Για 12η ημέρα συνεχίζει να καίει η φωτιά στον εθνικό δρυμό της Βάλια Κάλντα, στη θέση Τσακατούρα, ανάμεσα στην Βωβούσα Ιωαννίνων και το Περιβόλι Γρεβενών προς την πλευρά που γειτνιάζει με το Αρκουδόρεμα.

Η φωτιά είναι έρπουσα, καίει χαμηλή βλάστηση και τα ξερόκλαδα, ενώ τα ρόμπολα και η μαύρη πεύκη, που αποτελεί την κυρίως βλάστηση του δάσους, μέχρι στιγμής δεν κινδυνεύουν.

Όπως ανέφερε ο διοικητής της Πυροσβεστικής Γρεβενών Αντώνης Καλαϊδόπουλος, το σημείο της φωτιάς είναι αρκετά δύσβατο και τα πεζοπόρα τμήματα χρειάζονται αρκετή ώρα για να το προσεγγίζουν.

Στην κατάσβεση συμμετέχουν 7 πυροσβέστες από τα Γρεβενά, 7 από την Κοζάνη και 7 άνδρες από το νεοσύστατο τμήμα δασοκομάντος, που εδρεύει στα Ιωάννινα.

Σύμφωνα με τον κ. Καλαϊδόπουλο, η φωτιά έχει περιοριστεί στο ελάχιστο, ενώ παρουσιάζονται καπνοί και μικροεστίες κατά τη διάρκεια του μεσημεριού.

    The UNESCO must be called on this to prevent anymore mentally ill acts from the cigarette-throwing brown Middle-Eastern Neogreek lunatics before they become even a greater danger to themselves and others. Usually it has little to do with skin colour and heritage though, it is more of a rotten and shameful cultural upbringing. This place is humanity’s heritage and the most beautiful heaven on Earth if you try to burn it I will burn you alive. This makes me genuinely “angry” even though I am a well-tempered man. Honestly this is so abhorrent, who would do something like this? Only the worthless abortions of the Earth.
