Can i park here? I’m the dark car. Until last month you couldn’t park here because there was a sign that said so, but now its gone. But i dont trust the gov about this one

  1. I think so, I see no yellow stripes, no sign… I would park there. But keep the picture, just to be safe and they put the sign back.

  3. That sidewalk looks like it was installed like, this morning. Maybe sign’s still coming? For now, I can see no reason why not, though.

  6. I’d look around for a parking zone sign (residents only, only with a “parkeerschijf”,…). Other than that you should be fine for now

  7. All parking related information is indicated at the nearest junction to you that is on your side. Walk back to that junction to get the proper instructions. Specific parking rules are then further specified closer to the specific area, such as handicapped spot, etc. Since this picture isn’t taken at the closest junction to you on your side, there is no obvious way to inform you properly if you’re allowed to park there or not. But i understand your fear. I has my car towed once and ever since i always double and triple check I’ve parked right

  10. I think, based on this picture, legally yes. But I don’t know how far ahead that road narrowing on the left side is.. so maybe you’re not in the best spot for larger vehicles or trucks etc.

  11. The street is the start of a wijk, but not a woonwijk. This picture is taken at the crossing between mechelsesteenweg and waterschansweg in Lier. There is a big appartment on the left (not in picture) and they took away the parkingspots in front for a “FiEtSoSTrAde”. They made new curbs and already placed fiber i think? Would be weir to open up the road 3-4 times. So maybe the sign will come later, but i think i’m legally parked over there. I’m keeping the picture as proof
