I don’t think people realise how easily fine particles penetrate every part of their body.
I only recently discovered how bad the air quality in my area is, I live in a city and its worse than 97% of the UK, breaching WHO limits multiple times over
I always think about that when I drive past houses along carriageways and other large busy roads. How healthy can it be for the kids growing up there. Though I think we are lucky enough in the UK as for the most part, bar some of the larger cities in England and Scotland our air quality is relatively good compared to the rest of the world.
