But for me more mindblowing was always that there is football field underground.
Gives me Indiana Jones vibes
I have been there 4 days ago. It was pretty cool.
Oh, I’ve licked some of these walls
Not my cup of tea to be honest. Last time I’ve been there it gave me anxiety plus you had to wear a mask. Which was strange and the guide allowed us to take it off once and have a big breath in as apparently the air is super healthy down there, I just laughed. The worst was a way out in a tiny lift where you couldn’t even turn around. Interesting place for sure, but like I said not my thing.
Apparently the tour only takes you through like 1-2% of the mine which is insaneeee. Also the salt cooling lotion they sell is awesome
Been there 👌🏻
Have you gotten a chance to lick the walls? They’re very… tasty
I was there when I was a kid, I can really recommend to go there, it is in Krakòw and the name of the mine is Wieliczka
I am sad this place is so expensive post covid. I get why and don’t blame them, it costs money to upkeep things, but it makes me sad I can’t take people as regularly as I used to.
I’ve been there before it’s surreal
And they call it a mine! A mine!
Ból dupska widzę konkretny co niektórzy tutaj mają.
It’s funny how I’m seeing this post now when I was there just recently haha
Visiting Poland again after 12 years of not being there. Will be there soon. Was born/raised in Poland but never been to Krakow. Can’t wait
to check it out.
Damn Wieliczka always getting all the attention and fame!
We in Bochnia also have cool underground rooms n’ shit in our salt mine, and it’s even older too! s/

Yea, you can even make your wedding there.
