1000 is a bit of a stretch. This square was designed around the location of the city by Magdeburg law so 1257. 750 is still only 75% of a millennium after all. There are really almost no Romanian buildings left there. Only st. Wojciech’s Church comes to mind, and it is still heavily changed.
Actually on my way to krakow rn but I’ll just be passing thru and catching a train to Warsaw
yeah, full of pigeons that shit everywhere. dumb tourists that feed them even though it’s ILLEGAL

Ah, lots of memories from that place! Remember going there with my classmates a couple of years ago, lots of things happened on that trip. Just looking at that picture i can remember where I stood.
By some buildings being a 1000 years old they mean only one tiny church, the rest is no way near this ancient.
They are not standing at all. They occupy space.
