Well done to them. It’s a small bit of pain but much more to gain long term. Time the country stood up to these who are focused on increasing their own wealth and not looking after those who make the make the money for them.
mk 13 august..
I do like how these unions are giving frim notice on exactly when these strikes are taking place allowing time for the public to alter their plans.
How can they thinking about striking when they get paid more than minimum wage? Think of the nurses!!!
Im ready to suffer for saying this but the unions are no better than the tories, it’s all about greed and political pointscoring. Train drivers on their 60k salaries striking over pay really is the cherry on top (and this time, yes it is the drivers). The economy is in the shitter and all this does is make it worse for everyone.
Brilliant news! Keep going and I hope they get what they need.
Smashing! Only one day strike? Not serious. A minimum of 2 weeks looks more adequate. Think about!
How many more strikes will it take for people to stop going “ it’s only a mild inconvenience” or “ it’s not that bad”
