I am wanting to give this to a friend, but I don’t know what the boat, the flag, or “K” mean. I can’t find the meaning anywhere on the internet!

  1. I’m not knowledgeable in heraldery so this is more like my guess.
I guess the “K” symbolises that the Praha is the seat of king, same should go for lion.
The water is most likely Vltava, river that flows through Prague.

As I said this is rather guess, but I hope I’m not too far from truth.
And if nothing else, you can use this explenation even if isn’t truth and spread it as sort of “legend” :p

  2. This is Coat of Arms of Karlin – district of a Prague. It’s near the river (water), former river port (ship), K is for Karlin and bohemian white lion is for Czech.
