I am really surprised at how many people are like “we are going to miss her” now. Do those people not remember the past 16 years? And that Merkel was head of the CDU for a long time as well?
I don’t know, man. Sure it could have been worse, I guess? But it’s not like the country (and the CDU) is in the state it’s in because Merkel did such a terrific job, right?
