A case of comparable obtuseness is provided by Amnesty International, the human rights charity.

I, as a citizen of Ukraine, got angry at the proposal that people were not trying to evacuate, and I just like that, yes you go ….! Dozens of bus drivers died, were injured while trying to take people out of the shelled cities, every day the government asked people to leave Donbass Zelensky asked them to do this with the words get out of there, we do not want you to die and yes you are afraid, but this is normal. which is what 90 percent of the population did, but those who remained are very strange, because there is no water and electricity in the cities of Donbass. these people refuse to leave and just basically live on the street
“In certain other locations in which Amnesty International concluded that Russia had committed war crimes, including in some areas of the city of Kharkiv, the organization did not find evidence of Ukrainian forces located in the civilian areas unlawfully targeted by the Russian military.”
Except there are cases where the Ukrainian army had based itself in Hospital and Schools to which it says;
“The Ukrainian military’s practice of locating military objectives within populated areas does not in any way justify indiscriminate Russian attacks. All parties to a conflict must at all times distinguish between military objectives and civilian objects and take all feasible precautions, including in choice of weapons, to minimize civilian harm.Indiscriminate attacks which kill or injure civilians or damage civilian objects are war crimes.”
People think that’s an unreasonable request to make of either military but it is still the right request to make and both sides should adhere to it or risk getting non-combatants killed in the crossfire.
Amnesty International is now a Russian propaganda outlet.
Over the last six months, Amnesty International has published 40 articles on Ukraine, nearly all of which condemn Russia’s invasion. They do one exception and they suddenly become Russian propagandists lol.
Amnesty International is *banned* in Russia.
I remember when they said Austria is no longer save for refugees lol. Amnesty is a fucking joke.
