I sent this 12 page report about my 15 years independent research developing citizen science in Ireland to various oireachtas committees which continues to be ignored

  1. It took 6 months to get a reply from Simon Harris who did not comment on my submission but instead took the opportunity to congratulate his leadership developing citizen science in Ireland

How it’s possible that someone with no university qualification or startup or even private sector experience can become minister for science and innovation is beyond me.

The committee on climate & environment chaired by deputy Brian Leddin were too busy fixing the environment to accept my request to present my work to the committee

Still waiting for a reply from EU affairs who do not seem to realise that litter might be a problem across Europe?

15 years now not a single opportunity to develop citizen science in Ireland. Rest of the world racing ahead.

Thanks Ireland you absolute beautiful friendly shithole.

Want to do something about it? Have a GoFundMe stick at 2% since 2020 if any of you think fixing the global litter problem might be a good idea

  2. There is an entire page there without a paragraph break. The word “daunting” doesn’t even come close. You need to format your documents with the reader in mind because nobody wants to read your sheer wall of text.

  3. I stopped reading after “Citizen science is the anti-covid, covid-friendly”.

Your opening paragraph is no way inviting.

  4. To be blunt that sounds like it was written by a disgruntled crank who’s taking every opportunity to call out everyone who hasn’t latched onto their genius idea with the appropriate gusto….

It took most of the document to figure out what you were talking about and even then you focused more on whinging about why it hasn’t been taken up rather than on promoting any positive message. I’d be amazed if anyone receiving this out of the blue got beyond the buzz word riddled first page…

  5. I really don’t understand your project. You created a platform for collecting data on littering but how is it to be used. Why is it any better than current methods of dealing with litter
