It’s really interesting these debates. Are these normal or a new thing as they seem to emulate the US style debates but the difference here is that they’re both on the same side. I wonder how many people are fighting over who to vote for or saying who they support to friends thinking they’re fighting against each other when actually it doesn’t matter to the tories who wins as both candidates are theirs.
People saying Truss didn’t react fast enough are classic armchair critics. She didn’t do anything bad, as far as normal human reactions are concerned, and clearly went over to help almost immediately.
The only thing I question is the involuntary OMG-SHOCK reaction she displayed as it happened. That is not the mark of someone who can keep cool under pressure.
