  1. whats with the mainstream media and having worse sound quallity than that one guy on discord with a jet engine running in the background?

  2. The presenter fainted, but is apparently okay now. Not sure about the show.

Or maybe she just fell asleep out of boredom at hearing the same old stories.

  3. I’m not sure what I’d do if I’m in an interview and the person collapses but I’d like to think I’d do something more then slowly walk over to them

  4. That photo on the article looks like a robot that’s been told it needs to attempt to fake emotion or it’s getting turned into dog food cans.

  5. Poor Kate, anyone would pass out standing so close to that amount of raw vocal feculence spilling from the mouths of Sir Non-Dom and Lady Porkmarket.

  6. Let’s be honest, if that was Boris on stage facing the questions, he’d have walked off after she collapsed (“thank god that’s over”)

  7. Best wishes to the presenter. With that said, I feel like these sorts of surprises should be common place in these debates as they’re an excellent test of character. When will we see Truss and Sunak on the Eric Andre show?

  8. It’s really interesting these debates. Are these normal or a new thing as they seem to emulate the US style debates but the difference here is that they’re both on the same side. I wonder how many people are fighting over who to vote for or saying who they support to friends thinking they’re fighting against each other when actually it doesn’t matter to the tories who wins as both candidates are theirs.

  9. People saying Truss didn’t react fast enough are classic armchair critics. She didn’t do anything bad, as far as normal human reactions are concerned, and clearly went over to help almost immediately.

The only thing I question is the involuntary OMG-SHOCK reaction she displayed as it happened. That is not the mark of someone who can keep cool under pressure.
